Nataliya Allinskaya

Bio

Nataliya Allinskaya is a Russian-Canadian pianist, arranger, composer, singer, songwriter, producer, accompanist, and multi-instrumentalist. Based in Montreal, Canada, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance at McGill University's Schulich School of Music.

Allinskaya emerged as a child prodigy, commencing her musical journey at a very young age; her mother started teaching her piano at the age of two, and by the age of four, she began improvising her own melodies at the piano. At the age of five, she was independently composing and writing down her compositions in her music score notebook.

At the ages of eight and nine, Allinskaya consecutively won the National Award at the Canadian Student Composer Competition for her first piano compositions. She participated in numerous music competitions and festivals across Canada; by the age of ten, she moved to an international level, performing at competitions, festivals, and events across Europe and the U.S., earning first place at the World Championship of Performing Arts (2020, voice and piano), among others. Allinskaya was homeschooled by her mother, which gave her the flexibility to focus her education primarily on music. She pursued diploma programs at the Royal Conservatory of Music (Canada) and the ABRSM (England), acquiring an ARCT Diploma and an ABRSM Diploma in piano, voice, music theory, and music history by the age of fifteen. Having fast-tracked her high school education, she applied to McGill University at the age of fifteen and, upon admission, became the youngest Voice Performance Bachelor student in the school's history at the age of sixteen. Along with her university studies, Allinskaya completed training for a ballet accompanist qualification and began working as a pianist at the École Supérieure de Ballet du Québec (ESBQ) in February 2026.

Throughout the years, Allinskaya has never stopped creating her own music. Composition has always been Allinskaya's primary interest; in 2025, she began experimenting with implementing lyrics into her improvisations, which led to her songwriting debut.
